Make your own Hummingbird Feeder!
They're on their way! With the recent freezing weather, many of the flowers and insects birds feed on have perished. Hummingbirds will soon be migrating through the Houston area and they will be hungry! Time to put your feeders out.
Check the photo for the recipe or find instructions online to make your own nectar. It's less expensive than buying premixed stuff and better for them. No red dye is needed. The color on the feeder itself is enough to attract the hummers
