Become a Volunteer….Why YOU should get involved!
We are an entirely volunteer-run organization, and we always appreciate participation from our Galatas families. With the help of volunteers such as you, the opportunity to meet the needs of each individual student and maximize instruction is greatly enhanced. A special thank you to all our volunteers from last year for their hard work and dedication. Here at Galatas, we strive for excellence and what a better way than to become involved.
We are seeking volunteers to continue re-establishing the organization. The PTO is a team effort in which we cannot succeed on our own. Signing up does not commit you to volunteering. You will be added to our volunteer recruitment emails throughout the year to sign up for volunteer opportunities at school. Our volunteer signup will be available soon.
All volunteers must complete the Conroe ISD background check. This form must be completed annually. Please make sure to select "Galatas Elementary" when filling out the form. Check back in August for upcoming volunteer opportunities.
Room Parent
Room parents will be assigned by each teacher at their request. Room Parents assist with classroom activities, teacher gifts through Gift Crowd, and promote PTO events as needed. A form will be available in August if you are interested in becoming a Room Parent.
Grade Level Coordinator
Information to Room Parents throughout the year is shared by the assigned Grade Level Coordinator and their teacher. Grade-Level Coordinators will be the main liaison to Room Parents in their grade and will receive their information from the VP of Communications.
