Calling all creative writers!
The Greyhound Gab is our school's quarterly literary publication. This year to accommodate both traditional and remote learners, students can submit an original creative writing piece (no puzzles, please) to the issue associated with the first letter of their last name. Topics and types include but are not limited to:
How to Participate:
Please submit your child's piece according to the schedule below to Christina Benavides at galatasnewsletter@gmail.com.
November: Last Names starting with A-D, submit by 11/12/21 for publication on 11/19/21
January: Last Names starting with E-J and make-ups, submit by 01/14/22 for publication on 01/21/22
March: Last Names starting with K-Q and make-ups, submit by 03/10/22 for publication on 03/25/22
May: Last Names starting with R-Z and make-ups, submit by 05/13/22 for publication on 05/20/22
All students are invited to participate unless parents have submitted and Educational Record Restriction Form. All work will be labeled with the student's first name, last name initial, and section number.

- Teacher/staff interview
- Original Poetry
- School event report (ex. First Day of School, Reading Week, Book Fair, etc.)
